First beer festival kicks off at Jishan Future Countryside in Yishui

The first beer festival of Jishan Future Countryside opened on August 14 at Xiaohuangya Village, Fuguanzhuang Town, Yishui County, launching a five‑day rural summer carnival for local residents and tourists.

Running from August 14 to 18, the event opens each evening from 17:00 to 22:00. It combines fresh draft‑beer tasting, food market stalls, live singing performances, calligraphy shows and fun beer‑drinking contests. Firework shows light up the rural sky every night as one of the major highlights.

Visitors can taste local rural delicacies at open‑air market booths while enjoying cool evening breezes in the countryside. The festival integrates catering, cultural performance and leisure entertainment, building a new night‑time consumption scene in rural areas.

By tapping rural ecological resources, Yishui expands rural tourism consumption scenarios. The festival draws city dwellers out to the countryside, drives sales of local farm produce and boosts the integrated development of agriculture, culture and tourism in mountainous villages.
