Every July is designated as the Yimeng Spirit Promotion Month in Linyi. A total of 12 special series activities were held this year under the theme “Uphold the banner of Yimeng Spirit and unite forces for progress”, spreading red culture to communities, villages, enterprises and schools across the city.
Led by leading‑cadre demonstration, Party‑group study sessions, theme‑Party‑day events and memorial ceremonies were held at revolutionary memorial halls. More than 6,000 Party‑organizations and over 400,000 Party‑members took part in onsite red‑base education activities. Commendation conferences honored advanced collectives and outstanding individuals who serve the public at grassroots posts.

Five themed‑preaching matrices were launched for different groups including Party cadres, women and teenagers. Forms include immersive theatrical performances, touring report meetings, women‑themed lectures and youth‑speaker contests. Grassroots units adopt flexible “small‑cut” communication models such as bench‑side micro‑lectures to make red stories accessible for ordinary residents.
Cultural‑enrichment activities bring red heritage closer to public life. The 4th “Yihe Night” folk‑drama show staged 29 selected original theatrical works. Red‑movie screenings rolled out in squares and community cultural centers. Documentary premieres, red‑book promotion events and red‑tour routes further diversified cultural offerings.

Volunteer services, summer public‑welfare classes and rural‑practice activities translate spiritual inheritance into concrete public‑service actions. Rooted in the revolutionary legacy of “Party‑mass unity, military‑civilian solidarity, flesh‑and‑blood bond and shared weal‑and‑woe”, the series of events integrates Yimeng Spirit into local social‑economic development and grassroots governance of Linyi.
