Groups of Taiwan compatriots paid a visit to Zuidongfeng rural art resort in Tancheng County, Linyi, for an immersive experience of idyllic countryside scenery, artistic atmosphere and relaxed rural lifestyle.
Zuidongfeng, a national 4A‑level scenic spot, follows the philosophy of “letting art settle in countryside”. It integrates art galleries, academy spaces, themed homestays, creative workshops and outdoor performance venues. Multiple national art associations have set up creation bases here, forming a model that combines high‑end artistic creation with mass public cultural experience.
During the visit, Taiwan guests wandered among courtyard‑style buildings, pastoral fields and art exhibition spaces. They watched folk‑art shows, visited creative studios and experienced characteristic rural leisure activities. Visitors spoke highly of the integration of pastoral landscapes and cultural creativity in Linyi’s countryside.
The exchange activity deepens cross‑strait mutual understanding. It offers an opportunity for Taiwan compatriots to observe rural revitalization practices in Shandong, and promotes people‑to‑people cultural exchanges across the Taiwan strait.
