Innovative integrated transport network paves golden development paths for rural vitalization in Yinan

Yinan County explores an integrated development model of “transport plus industry, culture‑tourism and people's livelihood”. Well‑built rural highway networks are transformed into golden arteries for activating rural resources, increasing villagers’income and advancing all‑round rural vitalization.

For industrial development, specialized industrial access roads are built for characteristic agricultural clusters. In Shuanghou town, dedicated transport roads and cold‑chain logistics facilities are constructed for cherry orchards. Fresh fruit delivery time is shortened by three hours, and product market value rises by roughly 20 percent. In Bubu town, mountain‑ring production roads revitalize local peach industry, enabling fruits to reach wholesale markets in Linyi within one hour and solving long‑standing sales bottlenecks for mountain‑zone orchards..

Yinan also fosters the integration of transport and cultural tourism. The well‑known “Yinan 318” mountain‑ring tourist highway and the “Love for Yinan · Red‑tourism loop” connect scenic spots, beautiful villages and revolutionary heritage sites. More than 20 viewing platforms and rest stops are built alongside roads. The route has won national honors as one of China’s Top 10 Most Beautiful Rural Highways, attracting growing numbers of tourists and driving growth for homestays, catering and local‑specialty sales.

The county pushes forward the “passenger‑cargo‑post‑tourism integration” reform. Ten special combined passenger‑cargo‑post routes are put into operation. Three county‑level logistics centers, 16 township transfer stations and 298 village‑level service stations form a complete rural logistics system. More than 100 categories of local farm goods can be shipped out of mountain villages efficiently, supporting over 1,500 rural e‑commerce businesses.
