Linyi launches immersive red study‑tour program for middle‑school students to pass down Yimeng spirit

Starting September, Linyi rolls out its autumn themed immersive red study‑tour campaign for middle‑school students under the slogan Carry forward Yimeng spirit from generation to generation. The program builds “walking ideological‑and‑political classrooms” by combining real‑historical sites, themed courses and experiential reflection, deepening morality education for teenagers across the city.

Centered on inheriting the core connotation of Yimeng spirit: Party‑mass unity, military‑civilian solidarity, flesh‑and‑blood bond and shared weal‑and‑woe, the study‑tour framework is divided into five thematic chapters: original aspiration, dedication, inheritance, heroes and faith. It selects landmark red venues including Yimeng Revolutionary Memorial Hall, the hometown of Red Sisters, Menglianggu Campaign Memorial Hall and Daqingshan Break‑out Memorial Hall as core practice bases.

The event adopts the “ten‑one” experiential activity system: laying bouquets to martyrs, visiting thematic exhibitions, watching red theatrical performances, attending special ideological lectures, sharing youth reflections and other interactive sessions. Instead of textbook‑only learning, teenagers are able to touch revolutionary history on‑site, listen to first‑hand red stories and translate spiritual perception into personal reflection and practical action.

Schools arrange organized off‑campus study groups for grade‑7 to grade‑9 students. Teachers, commentators and local revolutionary‑history volunteers jointly guide the on‑site courses. After returning to campus, students complete hand‑copied posters, theme essays and class‑meeting sharing sessions to consolidate learning outcomes.

Linyi will normalize this immersive red‑education mechanism. By integrating physical memorial venues, campus classroom teaching and after‑school practical activities, the city strives to help young generations establish firm ideals and nurture deep love for the hometown, the Party and the nation.
