The Communist Youth League Linyi Municipal Committee has rolled out an innovative dual‑track programme combining Youth Shops and Youth Night Schools, converting online youth traffic into long‑term urban retention, and building a new ecosystem for youth growth and entrepreneurship.

As Shandong's first pilot city for the national Youth Shop Role‑model Plan, Linyi supports young entrepreneurs running characteristic brick‑and‑mortar stores. A three‑level linkage mechanism provides policy interpretation, financial support, resource matching and brand incubation for youth‑led shops. The programme has cultivated more than 280 distinctive youth‑oriented stores across commerce, catering, cultural‑creativity and rural‑business sectors.

Youth Night School courses are delivered inside youth‑shop venues. After‑work classes covering vocational skills, artistic literacy, social communication and creative design enable young workers to upgrade capabilities without leaving their neighbourhood. Classes are run at low cost or free‑of‑charge for participants.

The integrated “shop plus night‑school” system fosters entrepreneurship, skill improvement and social interaction for young people. Linyi will keep expanding the programme, adding more youth shops and opening more night‑school sessions, to build a youth‑friendly city and inject youthful vitality into local socioeconomic development.
