Host of the 12th Provincial Games for Persons with Disabilities & 1st Special Olympics Games of Shandong Province, Linyi presents a vivid picture of the city's transformed disability‑support services, inclusive‑facility upgrades and growing social awareness of inclusive development.

Ahead of the grand event at Linyi Olympic Sports Park, 15 competition venues completed comprehensive barrier‑free renovation. Barrier‑free ramps, handrails, tactile paving, wheelchair viewing zones and accessible restrooms were fully installed and repeatedly tested. Over 1,900 volunteers received professional disability‑service training to deliver thoughtful, human‑centered support for athletes and spectators.
