Endless shows and Yimeng flavors: Linyi's autumn escape

Linyi in Shandong province has launched five autumn travel routes combining live performances, scenic attractions and local cuisine, offering visitors different ways to explore the city and the wider Yimeng area.

The five routes each offer a distinct focus. Route one explores urban performances, guiding visitors from the Former Residence of Wang Xizhi to the Langya Ancient City for large-scale shows like Guoxiu Langya, followed by an evening river cruise.

Route two focuses on revolutionary culture, starting at the birthplace of the Yimeng Mountain Minor and continuing to a tourism site offering immersive revolutionary-themed performances.

Route three blends nature and performances. Day one features a historic mountain fortress, a horse-battle show, a firefly cave, and an evening tour of a colorful town. Day two includes an immersive mountain performance, a resort visit with local cuisine, and forest rafting.

Route four focuses on rural leisure and local cuisine, taking tourists from Lanling National Agricultural Park to Zhucun village's wedding parade, while route five is a three-day panoramic journey integrating mountain autumn colors, cave wonders, hot springs, and shopping, culminating in evening performances at Langya Ancient City.

Each route includes recommended local dishes, from Linyi's signature stir-fried chicken and local-style soup to Mengshan mutton soup. Detailed itineraries, dining, and accommodation recommendations are available on the official "cultural tourism Linyi" platform and major OTA platforms.
