Calligraphy exhibition for honest‑government couplets goes to villages alongside 5th Luoxi calligraphy and painting festival

As part of The 22nd Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival of Linyi, the integrity‑themed couplet calligraphy village tour exhibition and the 5th Luoxi Sub‑district Calligraphy and Painting Culture Festival are set to kick off. The series of events brings fine calligraphy‑and‑painting artworks to grassroots villages, integrating integrity education and traditional Chinese cultural inheritance.

Hosted by Luoxi Sub‑district, the activities combine the special integrity‑themed calligraphy display with mass cultural performances. Selected honest‑government couplet works will be exhibited in village cultural activity rooms and rural cultural squares. These calligraphy pieces blend concise couplet verses with traditional brush‑writing art, spreading integrity concepts in a vivid, approachable way for rural residents.

The 5th Luoxi Sub‑district Calligraphy and Painting Culture Festival will also stage creation salons, public‑welfare calligraphy writing sessions for villagers and themed cultural shows. Local painters and calligraphers, grassroots cultural enthusiasts and primary‑school students will take part in the events.

By extending calligraphy‑festival resources down to village‑level grassroots sites, Linyi enables residents in suburban communities to share the cultural dividends of the Hometown of Calligrapher Sage Wang Xizhi.
