Collection exhibition of past calligraphy‑copying contest works opens for Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival

A collection exhibition of prize‑winning and collected works from previous editions of the Hometown of Calligrapher Sage · Linyi China Calligraphy Copying Contest opened as a supporting exhibition for The 22nd Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival of Linyi.

The show displays selected calligraphy pieces accumulated over previous contest sessions. Works created by calligraphers, amateur enthusiasts, teenagers and senior participants present multiple styles of Chinese running script, regular script and clerical script, with many works drawing inspiration from the Preface to the Orchid Pavilion Collection.

This retrospective exhibition reviews the long‑term development of Linyi’s mass calligraphy‑promotion programme. It further fuels public enthusiasm for brush‑calligraphy creation. All exhibits are accessible free‑of‑charge to citizens and tourists.
