The Yimeng Stone Sea tourism area in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, has launched its earth-kiln dining program for the cooler season, inviting visitors to sample slow-roasted local produce.

The kiln uses firewood to roast sweet potatoes until the skin caramelizes and the flesh softens, a traditional cooking method that lends the food a smoky aroma. The area also offers iron-pot free-range chicken, cooked over a wood fire with local ingredients.

Beyond dining, the site provides ziplines, climbing, trampolines and swings, and visitors can feed sika deer. Its "ancient stone labyrinth," formed over hundreds of millions of years, has become a popular photo spot.
