Linyi mass hiking event to be held at Tianmeng Mountain on Oct 18

The Tianmeng Mountain stop of the 2026 "Hiking Across Yimeng Mountains and Rivers" mass hiking event in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, will be held on the morning of Oct 18, with registration closing on Oct 16.

The event is held at the Tianmeng Mountain tourism area in Fei county. It opens at 9:20 am and starts at 9:40 am, concluding at 1 pm, with the scenic area open for free visits for the rest of the day.

The route passes the Wanghai Tower, the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge, the Jiangbei No 1 cliffside plank road and hiking trails. The scenic area also offers a 198-meter bungee jump, a walk of terror on colored planks suspended in the air, a high-altitude bicycle on a steel cable, a zipline, an air slide, a forest glass rafting course nearly 2,000 meters long, and paragliding.

A live performance based on "Yimeng Mountain Minor" is staged at the scenic area from Tuesday to Sunday, with shows at 10-11 am and 2-3 pm.
