The Tianmeng Mountain tourism area in Fei county, Linyi, East China's Shandong province, has entered its most colorful season, with flower fields along streams, harvest displays and turning foliage drawing visitors.

Flowers spread along the streams of the Xiyeyuan flower field, where an apple tree house sits within the blooms. In the harvest display area, bamboo trays of red chilies and yellow corn form sun patterns beside piles of pumpkins, an autumn scene the scenic area markets as a "small Wuyuan of the north."

The Golden Avenue section is lined with maple and ginkgo trees whose red and yellow canopies form a golden carpet underfoot.

A large-scale immersive red-themed performance is staged Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 to 11 am and 2 to 3 pm, in which visitors take part as "students of the Resistance University" across six wartime scenes rather than watching as spectators.

The area also offers a 198-meter bungee jump, described as the largest drop of its kind in northern China, a gentler version for the less daring, paragliding, a high-altitude walkway, a high-altitude bicycle, a zipline, an air slide, a forest flying carpet and a glass rafting course.

From now until Nov 15, residents of Shandong and Jiangsu provinces may enter free of charge by presenting their identity cards and forwarding the scenic area's official WeChat article, with visitors under 18 accompanied by a parent.
