Vocational schools in Shandong exchange experience on education reform

A 19-member delegation from Shouguang Vocational Education Center School visited Linyi Industrial School in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, on Oct 28 to exchange experience in vocational education.

Led by He Xiangkun, Party secretary of both the Weifang Bohai Education Group and Shouguang Vocational Education Center School, the delegation toured a series of training facilities, including the information-based hot cooking training room, the cold platter and carving training room, the 3D simulated tour guide training room, the automobile repair workshop, the laser maker training base, the Sino-enterprise mechatronics training room and the industrial robot training room.

At a symposium after the tour, Li Jingtao, principal of Linyi Industrial School, introduced the school's development history, educational philosophy, faculty, specialty programs and student training. The two sides held in-depth discussions on classroom reform, vocational education, industry-education integration and social training, sharing practical experience from their respective school-running practices.

Both schools said the exchange deepened their friendship and provided valuable ideas for future cooperation in education and teaching, and they will learn from each other to cultivate more skilled technical talent.
