Students of Linyi No.3 Experimental Primary School in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, performed the Liuqin opera piece Sing a Folk Song to the Party on Nov 4 for participants of the city's 2026 demonstration training program for Party organization secretaries of primary and secondary schools.
Liuqin opera is a national intangible cultural heritage rooted in the Yimeng region. For years, the school has brought the art form onto campus, inviting Liu Guihong, a provincial-level inheritor of Liuqin opera and a first-class performer, to teach regularly, integrating opera lessons into aesthetic and red education.

The performed piece was adapted by Liu, blending the local vocal style of Liuqin opera with a classic revolutionary melody. The children expressed their love for the Party with clear voices and sincere delivery, showcasing the school's "intangible heritage plus red education" approach.
The performance drew warm applause from the trainees and offered local educators a practical example of how Party building can guide aesthetic education and how local cultural resources can be used in moral education.
