Exhibition zones of 5th RCEP Expo feature immersive experience and well-known enterprises

The 5th RCEP Regional (Shandong) Import Expo has innovated its exhibition zone setup, focusing on immersive and experiential displays while attracting a number of well-known enterprises, according to the expo organizing committee.

Breaking the traditional booth-based construction concept, the Foreign Trade High-Quality Products Zone takes immersion and experience as the core, setting up characteristic zones such as a food zone, a handicrafts zone and a daily necessities zone. More than 100 enterprises have signed up to participate, and the organizing committee plans to organize another 30-odd enterprises to join.

The Quality Life Zone has 145 participating enterprises, including 120 foreign-related ones, and its exhibition recruitment has been completed. China-ASEAN Expo Group has set up an ASEAN Preferred Products Zone, organizing more than 20 high-quality participating enterprises from the China-ASEAN Expo. Fortune 500 enterprises such as Yamaha, Metro and Tesla will also participate in the expo.

The targeted recruitment strategy follows a dual‑track approach covering both oversea and domestic buyers, the organizing committee said. In terms of targeted invitation of professional purchasers, the organizing committee has seized the opportunity of the concurrent Canton Fair. Of the 307 confirmed foreign buyers, 50 are professional procurement delegates from the Canton Fair. This strategy formulated a two-way invitation plan of "oversea + domestic", connected with six major national import and export chambers of commerce and associations, and mobilized 45 overseas purchaser service centers in Linyi. 

At present, 307 overseas purchasers have been confirmed, including 50 professional purchasers from the Canton Fair. Meanwhile, major supermarkets, market entities, wholesalers and others have been invited, and more than 1,500 domestic professional purchasing institutions have been organized to participate in the expo.
