The 5th RCEP (Shandong) Import Expo kicked off on April 20 at the Linyi International Expo Center in Linyi, Shandong province, with South Korea as the guest of honor.
Spanning 35,000 square meters at the Linyi International Expo Center, the three-day event features 1,200 standard booths and hosts 400 enterprises, underscoring a strong international presence.
Exhibitors from 48 countries and regions — including Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam — are attending the expo, along with 444 internationally oriented companies.
The expo also includes 18 national pavilions and 5 international sister-city pavilions, positioning the event as a premier platform for connecting Chinese and overseas enterprises.
Strong participation from established brands is a key highlight of the expo. The China-ASEAN Expo Group has set up an ASEAN Premium Zone, bringing together over 20 outstanding exhibitors from previous ASEAN Expos. Fortune Global 500 companies, including Yamaha, Metro, and Tesla, are also taking part.
The expo will further harness the integrated strengths of exhibition, culture, tourism, commerce, and trade. It offers a rich lineup of supporting events, facilitates the connection between domestic and foreign trade, and blends tourism with consumption. Moreover, it is exploring a sustainable development model by integrating online and offline platforms, thereby amplifying the advantages of Linyi’s commerce, logistics, and industrial sectors.
