The Linyi International Product Selection Center has begun investment promotion, marking a new step in Linyi Trade City's transition from a domestic distribution hub to an international platform for local products.
The launch ceremony and a meeting on supply chains for Linyi products entering overseas markets were held on June 6. The project aims to create a one-stop sourcing platform for overseas buyers, connect local specialty products with global procurement channels, and speed up the development of an integrated foreign trade ecosystem.
According to Liu Yongqiang, deputy general manager of Linyi Lanshan Production Development Group, the center is a key project in Linyi Trade City's development of a foreign trade ecosystem. The first phase covers about 62,000 square meters and is operated by a group of local leading companies, with support from local chambers of commerce.
Positioned as a "global showroom" for Linyi-made products and a one-stop selection base for overseas procurement, the center will focus on hardware and electromechanical products, security and labor-protection goods, wood panels, building materials, home goods, daily necessities, and plastic products.
It will also integrate foreign trade supply chains from provincial-level industrial belts nationwide and attract competitive local product categories, targeting buyers from South Korea, Russia, Mongolia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Company representatives said the platform would clarify export channels and strengthen cooperation.
