Linyi leads national labor‑protection goods sector with digital upgrading

Linyi boasts China's largest complete industrial cluster for labor‑protection articles, with integrated production and trade‑logistics chains driving steady domestic sales and booming overseas exports.

Annual domestic sales of local labor‑protection products exceed 40 billion yuan, accounting for 35 percent of China's domestic market share. Exports hit 2 billion US dollars, with goods shipped to more than 120 countries and regions across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America. Zhongcun Town in Pingyi County alone produces 6 billion pairs of protective gloves every year, making up over 60 percent of national glove output.

The whole industrial chain covers Lanshan District, Hedong District, Linshu County and other areas. There are nearly 100 large‑scale manufacturers, more than 3,000 small‑and‑medium‑sized enterprises and over 1,500 trading merchants, offering jobs for more than 200,000 local residents.

It connects over 3,000 global suppliers and one million types of protective products, supported by 180,000‑square‑meter smart warehouses. Big‑data technology streamlines procurement, order processing, warehousing and distribution links.

Local factories adopt intelligent weaving equipment and online quality‑control devices. Merchants expand sales channels via livestream e‑commerce and cloud‑warehouse delivery. Moving away from low‑price homogeneous competition, Linyi's labor‑protection industry develops standardized protective supplies and integrated safety solution services, consolidating its position as a national distribution hub for labor‑protection goods.
