Smart manufacturing technologies are reshaping Linyi's food processing sector. At the production workshop of Shandong Chunwang Food Tech. Co., Ltd, AI‑powered visual sorting systems identify deteriorated and discolored raw materials, automatic filling equipment seals packages, and industrial robots finish palletizing and depalletizing work. Peanuts and nuts go through multiple procedures and are turned into popular snack products sold across China and overseas markets.
The case serves as a vivid example of new‑quality productive forces taking root in Linyi's food industry. Lanshan district fosters leading chain‑head enterprises to consolidate, supplement and strengthen local food industrial chains, and builds a tiered enterprise ecosystem featuring chain‑head leaders, backbone supporters and micro‑small collaborators. At present, the district hosts 26 above‑scale enterprises in the healthy meat‑product chain and 7 provincial‑level key leading enterprises. Five newly‑built projects have been put into operation, while another seven projects are under full construction.

As a high‑tech food processor based in Linyi, Chunwang Food develops an integrated model covering R&D, planting bases, production and marketing for peanuts and nut products. Its newly‑launched 320‑million‑yuan peanut‑and‑nut processing project commenced operation in June 2026, adding three automatic production lines with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons of nut products. Canned nut output and value rank among the country's top players.
The enterprise strictly controls raw‑material quality by selecting premium peanuts from Jiaodong Peninsula. Three major intelligent renovation projects including AI visual sorting, fully‑automatic filling and robot‑driven warehouse handling raise sorting precision, packaging standardization and warehouse turnover efficiency, pushing traditional agricultural‑food processing toward smart manufacturing.
Production lines maintain full‑capacity operation this year. For domestic sales, the firm operates live‑stream sales on mainstream e‑commerce platforms and cooperates with more than 2,000 content creators. Its goods enter major local and national supermarket chains and maintain stable partnerships with merchants at China International Food City.
Overseas business expands steadily. The company achieved export volume of 46 million yuan in 2025, with products exported to Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Oceania. It targets 60‑million‑yuan export revenue in 2026, advancing the dual‑circulation development pattern of domestic and international markets.
“We will further improve automation levels, optimize product quality and brand influence, and contribute to high‑quality development of Linyi's food industry,” said Cao Hongcai, person‑in‑charge of Chunwang Food.
