Fifteen foreign business representatives and expatriates from nine countries, including Ghana, the Republic of Korea, France, the United Kingdom and Uganda, toured two key foreign-related service platforms in Linyi, Shandong province, on Aug 20.

The visit was organized by Linyi Municipal Bureau of Justice, Foreign Affairs Office of Linyi Municipal People's Government and Linyi Municipal Administrative Examination and Approval Service Bureau, aiming to help foreign stakeholders gain in-depth knowledge of the city's open service platforms.

During the tour, the participants — who included foreign businesspeople, expatriates residing in Linyi, and representatives of foreign-invested enterprises — toured the two facilities and took part in a symposium. They shared their views on Linyi's industrial development and the global expansion of Linyi Trade City, and offered suggestions for the high-quality development of the city's trade hub.

The two centers are key service platforms established under Linyi's strategy to internationalize Linyi Trade City. Local authorities said they will continue to optimize service procedures and enhance foreign-related services to ensure that all such matters can be handled through a one-stop process, making it more convenient for expatriates to live and do business in the city.
