Linyi's slow‑release fertilizer takes national top sales and expands global footprint

Linyi has built China's largest industrial cluster for slow‑ and controlled‑release fertilizers, with annual sales volume ranking first nationwide. The sector stands as a core pillar of Linyi’s fine‑chemical “3+X” modern industrial system.

The city hosts 32 above‑scale enterprises specializing in new‑type fertilizers, covering slow‑release fertilizer, water‑soluble fertilizer and microbial fertilizer. Bio‑based coated slow‑release fertilizer independently developed by local scientists can degrade naturally in soil, lifting fertilizer utilization rate to 66‑75 percent and boosting crop yield by more than 15 percent.
