4th Linyi Trade City International Sourcing Conference for Belt and Road Cooperation set for Oct 28-30

The 4th Linyi Trade City International Sourcing Conference for Belt and Road Cooperation will be held in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, from Oct 28 to 30, organizers said on Oct 10.

This year's conference, themed "Linking the world's supermarkets, sourcing global quality goods", follows a city-district integrated approach. The provincial level will host a meeting on high-quality development of Linyi Trade City, the municipal level has planned one headline event plus three key activities, and the five urban districts have arranged 14 specialized sessions.

The three key activities are the Linyi Export Commodities Expo, a special session at the Linyi International Product Selection Center, and a precision sourcing matchmaking meeting organized by the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce under its 2026 "Going Global, Connecting the World" program, held at the Linyi International Trade Center.

The Linyi International Expo Center, the main venue, will host both the opening ceremony and the Linyi Export Commodities Expo. The expo will occupy three halls covering 30,000 square meters, with 1,200 standard booths and eight product zones for building materials, hardware, engineering machinery, agricultural machinery, home furnishings, technology, food, and labor protection products, plus one zone for comprehensive foreign trade services.

Organizers expect more than 2,000 international buyers from East Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa and the Middle East, along with over 10,000 domestic buyers.

The precision sourcing meeting and the specialized sessions will invite buyers from Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa and Latin America to hold face-to-face talks with local suppliers, alongside company and platform project presentations.
