The 4th Linyi Trade City International Sourcing Conference opens

The 4th Linyi Trade City International Sourcing Conference opened at the Linyi International Expo Center in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, on the morning of Oct 28, drawing more than 2,000 international buyers from over 110 countries and regions and more than 4,000 domestic buyers.

The conference, themed Bridging the World, Sourcing Global Excellence, is built around supply-demand matching, industry exchange, digital empowerment and investment attraction. Alongside the opening ceremony, it runs the Linyi Export Commodities Expo, a special session at the Linyi International Product Selection Center and the 2026 precision sourcing matchmaking meeting, plus 15 district-level sessions and buyer inspection tours.

The export expo sets up 10 product zones and 1,200 standard booths covering machinery, panels and hardware, and daily consumer goods. The matchmaking meeting has invited 40 overseas buyers and 60 Linyi exporters in hardware and building materials.

The Linyi International Product Selection Center, which opened on Sept 28 with 60,000 square meters of floor space, brings source factories together so buyers can source across categories in one building. A foreign trade service area staffed by nine government departments and 35 service providers offers customs, logistics, tax, translation, finance and legal services, with a mini-program handling pre-registration and demand matching.

Linyi is a national market city and logistics capital. Its international port code was approved this year, and the city operates market procurement trade and cross-border e-commerce pilot zones. In the first three quarters, Linyi organized more than 2,300 company visits to overseas trade fairs, built 18 international selection centers and set up overseas service stations in 11 countries, forming an integrated network of selection centers, overseas services and overseas warehousing.
