Mengyin's textile industry empowers rural revitalization and common prosperity

Mengyin Sub-district in Linyi City has advanced its time-honored textile industry with a 40-year development history via leading enterprise driving, technological empowerment and industrial chain optimization, transforming the traditional scattered and extensive textile sector into an intelligent, high-end and refined industry. 

Leading local textile enterprises have collaborated with universities to tackle core technical challenges and promoted intelligent upgrading, while micro, small and medium-sized textile enterprises have completed equipment renewal and capacity transformation. With special working teams, favorable policies and optimized business environment, a complete textile industrial chain has taken shape. 

Currently, the industry's annual output value exceeds 600 million yuan, covering more than 20 market entities. It has enabled over 1,800 local residents to work nearby and increase stable income, realizing coordinated development of industrial upgrading, enterprise growth and people’s prosperity.
