Linyi gains global attention with growing international influence

Recently, Linyi has drawn extensive international attention across multiple sectors, with its global influence on the rise. In late May, a number of overseas events andreports by authoritative media outlets have showcased the city’s vitality in opening wider to the world. 

From May 22 to 24, the 2026 Second China (Shandong)-Malaysia Brands Exhibition & Trade Fair was successfully held in Malaysia.Malaysia's national television provided full coverage of the event, with its English and Malay channels commending of Linyi’s commercial strength, further deepening cross-border cooperation between Shandong and Malaysia. Meanwhile, Xinhua News Agency published special reports in English and Russian, featuring achievements in local grassroots football as well as the robust growth of China-Russia trade at Linyi Trade City. Supported by a complete international logistics network, Linyi’s cross-border trade continues to expand and improve, while cultural and sports exchanges with foreign countries flourish.

Linyi is now stepping onto the global stage in an all-round way, with rising international reputation and opening-up level.
