Linyi catering industry completes rational low-cost transformation

High-end banquet restaurant Datang VIP demolished luxurious decoration and rebranded as Tang Xiaotian Pastoral Restaurant with per capita consumption around 40 yuan, focusing seasonal native ingredients and folk Linyi cuisine. Multiple star hotels opened community food stations selling affordable home-cooked dishes with free rest and charging services. Linyi stir-fried chicken, the landmark local food, developed full industrial chains combining standardized production, offline stores and live-stream e-commerce. Provincial intangible cultural heritage inheritors promote stir-fried chicken culture on national media and short video platforms to expand domestic and overseas sales channels. Over 300 catering entities completed market-oriented upgrading this year.

Linyi's catering transformation adapts to rational mass consumption trends. The city will further integrate characteristic food, cultural tourism and digital live-stream sales to continuously activate urban catering consumption vitality.
