Seasonal flight between Linyi and Ordos launches for summer travel rush

China Eastern Airlines MU7565 completed the maiden flight of the seasonal Linyi-Ordos passenger route on July 10. Operated from July to August only, the C909 aircraft cuts single-way travel time to one hour and 55 minutes.

The flight departs Ordos at 16:10 and arrives at Linyi at 18:05; the return flight takes off from Linyi at 19:00 and lands in Ordos at 20:55. The new air route shortens previous multi-transfer trips, catering to summer tourism, family reunion and business passenger flows.

Linyi Airport will cooperate with airlines to add flexible flights according to passenger volume. The new air channel strengthens cultural and trade exchanges between Shandong and Inner Mongolia under the "Fly Well Shandong" service brand.
