Tailored services fuel growth of packaging manufacturer in Linyi

Shandong Zhongcheng Packaging Technology Co Ltd, a packaging manufacturer in Linyi, Shandong province, has grown into an industry leader after overcoming early development challenges with support from a tailored local business service system.

Based in Kuangkeng town of Lanling county, the company now produces more than 1,000 types of packaging products and maintains long-term partnerships with over 200 listed companies. The company is expected to soon surpass 360 million yuan ($53.19 million) in annual industrial output value.

Zhongcheng Packaging encountered difficulties early on in its development, including construction delays, complex approval procedures, financing pressure, and technological bottlenecks.

To address these challenges, Kuangkeng established a dedicated service system, assigning personnel to provide full-cycle support for key enterprises. When the company's construction was delayed due to a shortage of vehicles for land leveling, local service officers helped it secure more than 20 trucks within three days, allowing work to resume.

The support continued as the company expanded. Service officers helped Zhongcheng Packaging secure industry certifications, including ISO certifications, enabling it to operate in more markets. As a result, its annual revenue increased from 20 million yuan to 85 million yuan in just one year.

In 2023, the company received a 30 million yuan low-interest technology upgrade loan, which supported product improvements and reduced production costs. It also partnered with research teams from Xi'an University of Technology and the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to achieve breakthroughs in plastic modification technologies.
