Linyi holds work meeting on landmark industrial chains for Q2

A work promotion meeting on Linyi's landmark industrial chains for the second quarter was held on the afternoon of July 29. Zhang Baoliang, Secretary of the CPC Linyi Municipal Committee, presided over the conference and delivered key speeches. Cui Fengyou, Director of the Standing Committee of Linyi Municipal People's Congress, and Bian Feng, Chairman of Linyi Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on investment attraction for industrial chains, aiming to boost enthusiasm across all departments for project introduction and implementation. Zhang Baoliang noted that Linyi has prioritized industrial development and project investment since the start of 2026. The landmark industrial chains have become the core driving force of local manufacturing, with more orderly operation, clearer development paths and stronger professional teams. Meanwhile, existing weaknesses in industrial chain development were analyzed for targeted improvement.

Zhang Baoliang put forward clear requirements for the next stage. First, intensify industrial chain investment attraction. Special working groups shall conduct in-depth industrial research, push forward major planned projects, and leverage local strengths including renewable resources and logistics to draw high-caliber projects. Equal emphasis will be placed on business and talent recruitment, with platforms such as Yimeng Science and Innovation City built to gather high-end professionals. Optimized business environments will attract more projects to settle in Linyi.

Second, strive for better performance in the third quarter. Authorities will coordinate industrial orientation, project progress, policy implementation, technological innovation and brand building, speed up industrial park construction and expand capacity of producer services to consolidate Linyi's industrial foundation.

Third, consolidate responsibilities and coordinate cross-department efforts. Top-down coordination, regular supervision and positive incentives will be adopted to mobilize all sectors to support industrial investment attraction.

At the meeting, relevant departments and county representatives reported Q2 performance of industrial chains and investment attraction. The meeting was held via video link with municipal leaders in attendance.
