The 8th China (Linyi) Department Store and Cleaning Supplies Expo and the 3rd Shandong Exhibition International Trade Selection Fair opened in Linyi, Shandong on Sept 8, drawing hundreds of international buyers from over 20 countries and regions.
The 60,000-square-meter exhibition hall features more than 2,000 international standard booths, showcasing thousands of product categories including daily necessities, cleaning supplies, plastic products, kitchenware, and glass ceramics.
The event leverages Linyi's dual advantages as China's logistics capital and market city, linking over 130 specialized wholesale markets to organize professional buyer delegations.
A dedicated international trade selection area facilitates face-to-face negotiations. A buyer from Pakistan, who has visited Linyi multiple times, noted that direct communication provides valuable market information. A Nepalese purchasing manager praised the expo for meeting their requirements for both price and durability.
Many exhibitors reported strong results on the opening day. A plastic products exhibitor added over 200 WeChat contacts and distributed dozens of sample sets in just one morning. The "exhibition plus factory" model allows buyers to visit production lines immediately after viewing samples, greatly improving procurement efficiency.
As part of Linyi's "Hundreds of groups, thousands of enterprises go global" initiative, the expo underscores the city's commitment to integrating domestic and international trade while expanding companies' global market reach.
