National driving instructor skills competition opens in Linyi

The 16th National Transport Industry Motor Vehicle Driving Instructor Skills Competition opened in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, on Oct 20, after a pre-competition gathering held a day earlier.

Instructors from across the country took part in pre-competition training, on-site observation and group Q&A sessions on Oct 19, with organizers briefing participants on competition rules and scoring standards before the finals.

Yimeng Transport and Water Conservancy Group, the local state-owned enterprise responsible for logistics support, handled venue preparation, accommodation and transport for the participants.

The competition is a national-level skills event for driving instructors, assessing teaching methods, safety awareness and driving technique.
