Zhang Baoliang inspects sci-tech innovation projects across Linyi

On the afternoon of July 30, Zhang Baoliang, Secretary of the CPC Linyi Municipal Committee, conducted an inspection tour focusing on scientific and technological innovation work. He stressed deeper integration between technological advances and industrial upgrading to lift the city's innovation capacity to new heights.

Zhang first visited Tianhe Industrial Park, Linyi's benchmark digital intelligence and artificial intelligence industrial hub. He learned full details about park planning, computing power infrastructure and diversified AI application scenarios. He urged faster construction of computing facilities to fuel the real economy with artificial intelligence technologies.

At the production site of Guansmart intelligent inspection robots and Xinlian Environmental's high-end ITO target materials, two new projects put into trial operation this July, Zhang learned about enterprise construction, production flows and product application fields. He pledged full policy support for fast-growing tech firms to strengthen their core market competitiveness.

Later, the secretary toured the college student innovation and entrepreneurship platform inside Yimeng Science and Innovation City, holding in-depth exchanges with settled startup operators. He highlighted coordinated development of education, science and talent, deeper industry-university-research cooperation and improved incubation support to foster a vibrant innovation ecosystem.

During the whole inspection, Zhang put forward clear requirements. Authorities shall push forward construction of Yimeng Science and Innovation City with high efficiency to pool innovation resources and build Linyi’s landmark innovation hub. More high-end talents and sci-tech projects shall be introduced to empower local industrial growth.

The city will fully roll out the "Artificial Intelligence Plus" initiative to build demonstration scenarios and nurture new productive forces. Optimized business environments and complete factor guarantees will be delivered to unleash corporate innovation vitality and offer solid sci-tech backing for Linyi’s high-quality development.
