Luozhuang drives industrial transformation toward high-quality growth

2026-08-12

Luozhuang district in Shandong's Linyi reported strong economic growth for the first half of 2026, with GDP rising 6 percent and industrial added value climbing 8.3 percent. Treating the industrial economy as its top priority, the district is accelerating its evolution from a traditional industrial stronghold into a modern manufacturing hub.

To speed up project development, Luozhuang has implemented a streamlined service mechanism that addresses land, labor, and financing challenges. A standout example is the China (Luozhuang) Industrial Expo Center, which opened in May after only three months of construction.

Meanwhile, traditional sectors like stainless steel, ceramics, and recycled aluminum are upgrading toward green and smart production. Companies like Hongshun Porcelain are improving their product quality and expanding into over 70 overseas markets.

Concurrently, emerging industries are gaining momentum. Companies like Shandong Luokai Zhongcheng Intelligent Technology are supplying lightweight, high-strength auto parts to the electric vehicle sector, using direct molten aluminum supply to save 40 million yuan ($5.87 million) in raw material costs annually.

Looking ahead, Luozhuang aims to solidify key supply chains in high-end stainless steel and lightweight aluminum-based materials. By driving innovation and green transformation, the district continues to optimize its business environment and fuel sustainable, high-quality economic development.
