Linyi marks 2026 Chinese Doctors’Day with celebration events

A series themed events were held in Linyi to celebrate the 2026 Chinese Doctors’Day, honoring medical workers’dedication to public health and grassroots medical services.

The event commended outstanding clinical physicians, grassroots general practitioners and public health specialists across all counties and districts. Representatives shared touching stories of frontline diagnosis, rural medical support and emergency rescue.

Local health authorities released a batch of optimization measures for grassroots medical care, including extended clinic hours, free physical examinations for vulnerable groups and integrated county-township medical consultation systems. The city will continue to improve medical staff benefits and upgrade primary medical facilities to deliver better healthcare services for residents.
