Linyi delegation delivered a historic performance at The 26th Shandong Province Sports Games. As host city, Linyi collected 121.5 gold medals, hitting a new all‑time high in the city's provincial‑games history and securing fifth place across all prefecture‑level delegations of Shandong province.

Across 38 major sports categories, Linyi athletes harvested medals in both traditional strengths and newly‑added events including ice hockey, baseball‑softball, equestrian and coastal rowing. Multiple young contestants broke provincial youth competition records.

The outstanding results come from long‑term construction of youth sports talent reserve.
