Linyi Trade City connects local merchants with global markets

A delegation led by Harald Kromi, CEO of Austria's Forstinger company, visited Linyi Trade City for a three-day trade inspection, underscoring the city's growing international appeal.

During their visit, the delegation toured more than 10 specialized markets and industrial parks, including Lanhua Yongan Auto Accessories City and the Lingu E-commerce Innovation Incubation Park. They engaged directly with local merchants, examining the quality of products and discussed export standards, batch supply capabilities, and pricing — forming multiple tentative cooperation agreements.

The delegation also plans to leverage online channels to introduce high-quality Linyi products to Austrian e-commerce platforms. "Linyi Trade City is very experienced in domestic and foreign trade integration and cross-border operations. We will leverage our European channel advantages and localized after-sales network to jointly explore the European market with key enterprises like Lanhua Group," Kromi stated.

Linyi Trade City has been actively facilitating international trade through its dual "bring in" and "go global" strategy. From January to July this year, the trade city attracted 37,000 international buyers, a 47 percent year-on-year increase.

Looking ahead, the city plans to continue deepening the "Hundreds of groups, thousands of enterprises go global" initiative, aiming to host over 50,000 international visitors annually and enable more precise matchmaking with buyers from Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa.

Bringing global resources to local businesses, Linyi Trade City in Shandong is opening new avenues for international trade.
