Parent‑child national‑defense education event strengthens youth awareness of national security in Linyi Highway system

A parent‑child themed national‑defense public‑welfare activity was organized by Linyi Highway Development Center. Parents and children from highway‑system staff families took part in interactive national‑defense‑science sessions, aiming to foster patriotism and national‑security awareness among children through joint family participation.

The event blended multiple forms including national‑defense‑knowledge interactive quizzes, military‑‑theme hand‑craft creation, popular‑science video screening and explanation of civil‑air‑defense common‑sense knowledge. Parents and kids completed team‑based challenges side‑by‑side. Children gained easy‑to‑understand knowledge on national defense, civil air defense and youth civic responsibility.

Staff from Linyi Highway Development Center stated that the parent‑child model helps bring national‑defense education into family life. Such events plant seeds of patriotism and national‑security awareness in children’s minds. The highway system will hold more public‑welfare popular‑science events for employees’ families in future.
