Pingshang town in Junan county, Linyi, East China's Shandong province, has strengthened its "good examples" outreach brand this year, building a regular, immersive, targeted and multi-dimensional approach to theory and policy communication.

The town has pooled village and town officials, grid workers, lane chiefs, volunteers and cultural workers into its outreach team, improving their skills through regular preparation and exchange to extend reach and raise quality.

Relying on fixed study days and civilization practice stations in the new era, the town holds themed sessions and Yimeng spirit presentations, explaining theory in plain language, telling stories of change through everyday examples and discussing responsibility through development achievements. It has held more than 20 such sessions so far.

Grid workers and lane chiefs, who are close to residents, conduct micro-sessions in alleys, courtyards and homes. In Qingquanlin village, lane chiefs hold courtyard sessions during the farming off-season, covering flood prevention, fire safety and other practical matters while listening to residents' concerns.

The town has also integrated outreach with cultural benefits, using platforms such as the annual one-play-per-village program to weave policy, civility and social custom reform into clapper talks, opera and short plays, and has brought sessions into schools under the theme of carrying forward the Yimeng spirit.
