Linyi issues detailed plan for Phase II North New Town central activity zone

Against the backdrop of Linyi's 15th Five-Year Plan layout for urban functional upgrading, the detailed regulatory plan and urban design of Phase II North New Town have obtained official approval from the Linyi Municipal Peoples Government. The Olympic Sports Zone is positioned as the new downtown vitality hub integrating sports, business and culture.

The zone will construct high-standard venues for competitions and performances, financial business clusters, cultural and creative parks and SOE headquarters, alongside a central legal district. Comprehensive supporting facilities including hospitals, schools, parks, public transport stations and charging piles are planned to form a complete living and industrial ecosystem. The city targets building a well-known "City of Competitions and Performances" centered on large-scale sports events and immersive shows.

Linyi will push forward high-standard construction of the new central zone, coordinate sports, commerce and cultural functions, and forge a modern urban core landmark driving the city's high-quality development.
