Linyi Hi-tech Zone rolled out an intelligent “alarm clock reminder” mechanism for expiring permits to shift government services from passive acceptance to active outreach and further improve local business environment.
Targeting the common problem that merchants forget license renewal deadlines, the zone built a digital early warning platform covering 10 high-frequency administrative permits including food production and transportation certificates. It adopts a three-stage reminder system: advance SMS notification 30 days before expiry, platform alerts 7 days in advance and one-on-one phone calls 5 days prior. As of June, over 16,000 reminder messages and 300 phone notifications had been sent, helping 152 market entities complete renewal or cancellation procedures without operational losses.
The zone also implemented integrated joint inspection of approval and supervision departments during license extension, conducting compliance checks at one site to cut running trips for enterprises. The digital closed-loop service system upgrades the “Ju Hao Ban” government service brand and delivers targeted warm support for all market players.
