On July 13, staff members from Linyi Water Project Support Center conducted on-site water condition inspections at Xiaobudong Rubber Dam to track real-time water level changes amid heavy rainfall. Facing the 9th typhoon Bavi this year, Linyi and all surrounding areas activated emergency response mechanisms immediately.

Relevant departments arranged special personnel to carry out round-the-clock patrols on river dams, reservoirs and flood control facilities. They monitored rainfall and water flow data dynamically, checked flood discharge equipment, and sorted out emergency rescue supplies in advance. Targeted risk elimination operations were launched in low-lying areas, geological hazard zones and residential districts along rivers to guard people’s lives and property against storm impacts.

Comprehensive pre-typhoon prevention measures build a solid safety shield for Linyi. The standardized emergency disposal system greatly reduces potential flood and wind risks, demonstrating efficient grassroots disaster response capacity in Yimeng region.
