Linyi Day at Shandong University to promote Yimeng spirit, recruit talent

A "Yimeng spirit at Shandong University" program and "Shandong University Linyi Day" will be held at the university's central campus on Oct 13 and 14, the first time Linyi has entered the university with a city-themed day.

The event is not only a job fair. On the evening of Oct 13, a lecture themed "Passing on the Yimeng Spirit from Generation to Generation" will be held at the campus concert hall. Programs including "Yimeng Mountain Minor," "Sending Troops to Shandong," "Yimeng Mother" and "Three Martyrs in One Family" will be staged in the form of lectures, situational dramas and song-and-dance performances, bringing the Yimeng spirit to the campus and allowing students to experience the contemporary value of red culture.

On Oct 14, a job fair for young talent will be held at the plaza in front of Zhixin Building on the central campus. Key enterprises and public institutions from Linyi, in East China's Shandong province, will offer positions in sectors including smart manufacturing, biomedicine and modern logistics, and a policy consultation area will explain the city's talent introduction and industrial support policies, providing students with services spanning internships, employment and entrepreneurship. Areas for specialty products, food tasting and interactive check-ins will also be set up so students can experience the city's appeal while job hunting.

Through the combination of culture, recruitment and experience, Linyi aims to show university students its historical depth and development vitality, and to invite young talent to choose and settle in the city with the greatest sincerity and best policies.
