Youth choir concert delivers beautiful voices in Linyi Grand Theater

The Recall Distant Sounds youth choir special concert concluded successfully at Linyi Grand Theater on August 9.

The event was hosted by the Art Center of Linyi Grand Theater, whose youth choir has won multiple national honors including awards at China National Children’s Choir Festival. The performance was divided into four chapters covering ancient Chinese poetry, pastoral folk songs and youthful odes.

A full live band accompanied all singing pieces, blending piano, strings and percussion to deliver immersive audio experience. Young performers aged 6 to 16 took turns on stage, singing classic works including Spring View from Huichong River and The Deer Ode.

Old choir alumni sent video greetings and returned to the stage for the closing chorus, forming a touching inheritance scene across years. The theater has built a full-age choir system including children’s troupe and Xun Guang adult chamber choir, promoting universal music education for local residents.

Regular public choir activities integrate aesthetic education into daily life of Linyi citizens, cultivating public appreciation of vocal arts and enriching urban cultural atmosphere.
