Linyi Trade City monthly price index falls month-on-month

2026-08-10

The July monthly price index of Linyi Trade City was officially released, recording a total index of 102.22 points, down 0.30 month-on-month and 0.28 year-on-year, with a mild 0.10 percent rise compared with the start of 2026.

Among 14 major commodity categories tracked, 6 registered rising prices, 1 remained flat and 7 dropped. Ceramic products and household appliances took the top two growth categories. Summer tourism infrastructure renovation boosted demand for floor tiles and sanitary ceramics, pushing ceramic prices upward; high temperature lifted sales of cooling appliances, water purifiers and kitchen cookers to drive home appliance price gains.

Steel plates and timber decorative materials saw the largest month-on-month declines, affected by downstream construction demand fluctuations.

Market analysts noted the overall operation of Linyi Trade City remained stable with mild structural adjustments. Seasonal consumption of tourism and household goods supported partial price growth, while cyclical raw material pressure dragged bulk industrial material indices down moderately.

The index system provides real-time data reference for merchants, industrial regulators and foreign trade operators to judge market trends and adjust business strategies timely.
